Eligibility: To be eligible, applicants must
1. Non Chinese citizens with good health;
2. Education and age requirements:
(1)Applicants for master's degree must have a bachelor's degree and be no older than 35 years old; (date of birth later than March 31th, 1990)
(2)Applicants for doctoral degree must have a master's degree and be no older than 40 years old. (date of birth later than March 31th, 1985)
(3)If you are a graduate in July 2025, you need to issue a Provisional Certificate.
3. Not receiving other types of Chinese government scholarships at the same time.
Scholarship Content
1. Free charge of application fee, tuition, campus accommodation fee, and comprehensive medical insurance,
2. Living stipend: 3000 CNY/month for master students and 3500 CNY/month for doctoral students
3. Students shall responsible for their expenses of transportation.
Application Process
1. Login to the "Chinese Government Scholarship Study Abroad Management Information System"(https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/login). After entering the system, click on the redbutton "CREAT AN ACCOUNT" in the upper right corner to create a new one (even if you already have a CSC account, you still need to apply for a new one), fill in personal application information, submit and print the "Chinese Government Scholarship Application Form" online, and upload the scholarship application materials as listed.
Pay attention to filling in the correct Agency Number and Scholarship Type
2. Applicant do not need to send hard copies to the university by post, but has to summit all documents online to Guangxi Medical University. There are 2 way:
(1) Landing http://210.36.48.220/Account/Login, click "Apply Online" in the international student information system of GXMU to create your new account, fill in the application information online, upload all application materials and the "application form for Chinese Government Scholarships" generated in the CSC system.
(2) If you cannot log in to the GXMU system, you can summit all materials to the admission@gxmu.edu.cn. Format of the email title should be"applicant’s full name +2025 CSC graduate application".
3. Deadline: February 28, 2025. Please submit your application before the date, or it will not be accepted after the deadline.
4. After receiving all the application materials, Guangxi Medical University will conduct a preliminary review of the materials and conduct a telephone or online interview for the applicants. Please ensure that the contact information on the application form is unblocked and the email is correct.
5. Applicants who have passed the entrance examination will be selected as candidates for the scholarship program, and will be issued with Pre admission Letter and submitted to the China Scholarship Management Committee for final evaluation.
6. Please check the scholarship evaluation final results through your personal account on the CSC system or the website of the College of international education of Guangxi Medical University. The scholarship review takes a long time, please wait patiently.
7. Students who have received the Pre admission Letter from Guangxi Medical University but have not been funded by CSC scholarship program are still eligible to study at their own expense.
Application Documents

3. Copy of Passport Photo Page.
If the validity of the applicant’s current passport does not meet the requirement (meaning the passport expires before 31st September 2025), please apply for a new passport before submitting the application;
4. Notarized highest diploma.
Students who expect to graduate in July 2025 are required to submit an original Provisional Certificate from their university. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations;
* If the students who expect to graduate in July 2025are admitted, who must submit the graduation certificate and degree certificate before entering school in September 2025. If the student is unable to provide the original certificate at that time, his/her admission status (including the eligibility for the scholarship) will be revoked.
5. Academic transcripts (from the undergraduate program onwards).
Copies of academic records from first to last semester during the undergraduate, post graduate (if any) shall be provided. These transcripts shall be issued and stamped by the attending university’s academic affairs office, graduate school, or student management department. They can be in Chinese or English, but must be attached with notarized English translations if they are in foreign languages other than English;
6. Language qualification certificates.
HSK-5 or above level certificate within 2 years of validity on the date of application. Applicants who have obtained degrees in Chinese medium program in Chinese university, are not required to provide HSK level certificates.
7. Study/Research Plan.
Written in Chinese, which should includes resume, learning experience, previous research results, research plan during master/doctoral program, employment goals after graduation, etc.
Master applicants are required to have more than 800 words and doctoral applicants are required to have more than 1500 words.
The Research plan of doctoral applicants needs to be signed and confirmed by the Chinese supervisor in GXMU.
8. Recommendations.
2 recommendation letters from experts with associate professor titles or above related to the major you are applying for. Written in Chinese or English (no fixed format, please sign in person and attach valid contact information); The content should focus on the requirements of the applicant's learning objectives in China, the cooperation or inter school exchanges between Chinese institutions or Chinese mentors and foreign mentors, as well as the evaluation of the students' comprehensive ability and future development.

10. Foreigner Physical Examination Form
A photocopy of the Foreigner Physical Examination Form completed in English (the original copy shall be kept by the applicant). The form is designed by the Chinese quarantine authority and can be obtained from the dispatching authority. The physical examinations must cover all the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete records or those without the signature of the attending physician, the official stamp of the hospital, or a sealed photograph of the applicants are invalid. Please select the appropriate time to take a physical examination as the result is valid for only 6 months.
11. Non-criminal Record.
The applicant shall submit a valid certificate of no criminal record issued by the current local public security organ, which is generally issued within 6 months before the application is submitted.

Other Precautions
1. Uploaded supporting documents must be clear, authentic and valid. Applicants are recommended to use a professional device to scan the relevant documents. Applicants shall bear the consequences caused by unclear or unidentifiable uploaded materials.
2. If the applicant provides false application materials, once found, the application process will be suspended immediately. The pre-admission qualification, formal admission qualification and scholarship qualification obtained by the applicant will be cancelled at the same time, and the approved JW201 form will be cancelled. Students who are already enrolled in the school will also have their enrollment revoked.
3. Scholarship winners must go through the registration procedures according to the time stipulated by the school. According to the provisions of CSC, the scholarship qualification will not be retained for those who cannot register for the year for some reason.
4. Scholarship winners are not allowed to change their admission institutions after coming to China; In principle, the major and duration of study shall not be changed.
5. Must participate in the annual evaluation of scholarships according to regulations. Those who fail to pass the annual review will be suspended or disqualified from the scholarship.
